Google may have to cease producing affordable phones completely since its low-cost model is so excellent.
Because the less expensive phones are starting to resemble the previous year's flagships a little too closely, there are rumours circulating that Google may discontinue the Pixel A-series range in 2024.
This device, which was unveiled at the 2023 Google I/O event, is just a $100 cheaper Pixel 7 with a slightly smaller screen and few other compromises. Its main camera received a megapixel boost while keeping all of the same software trickery that made last year's Pixel 7 phones so excellent, and its performance and battery life are still outstanding.
